This web site features the beautiful paintings of Charles Lyles and Jean Lyles.

Charles Lyles’ paintings capture the beauty of the Southwest. Use the navigation bars to learn more about his instructional art books, limited edition prints, and art classes. You can even send a virtual greeting card featuring one of his paintings.

These pages are dedicated to Jean Lyles. Her painting career spanned thirty years. Jean Lyles, with her husband Euman, operated the Texas Gallery from 1980 – 1994. Jean exhibited at numerous art shows and taught weekly art classes. Together with her son, Charles Lyles, she published a series of instructional art books.
This website honors the memory of Charles’ son and Jean’s grandson, Carey Lyles (1980-2004). Carey created and provided tech support for the original clyles.com website. All profits from the sale of instructional art books and limited edition prints are donated to the Carey Lyles Memorial Scholarship Fund, West Texas A&M University Foundation, Canyon, Texas.
Purchase a subject-oriented how-to book. Each book focuses on a specific topic and comes complete with a supplies list, color examples, black-and-white templates, and step by step instructions.
